I value communication. I wish insurance companies had the same thought.

We are NOT always what we communicate. Just ask someone who stutters how they feel when they are thought to be "mentally challenged" or drunk because of the way they speak.

I have also learned along the way that the way we communicate can be perceived by the communication partner(s) quite differently that what we intended. Knowing this fact, I don't always remember that the words I chose to say/communicate can be interpreted differently for every listener. We know what we mean, but there are a lot times when others are getting a different message than what we intended.
